White House Super Intelligence task force holds first meeting, plans PCAST risk report
The White House Super Intelligence task force held its first meeting and adopted its charter, per a Semafor report. It will commission a PCAST report on AI risk covering cybersecurity, biosecurity and dual-use applications, and model control and accountability. A working group led by DNI Jay Clayton will implement the White House Accord on Super Intelligence, and Undersecretary Emil Michael will develop lab breach-disclosure protocols. Semafor reports enforcement mechanisms remain unclear, though export controls were used against Anthropic previously.
