I’m building a team in DC. Everyone in Washington has a stake in ensuring that reliable info about alignment and RSI reaches the public. We need trustworthy communicators who can explain METR's loss-of-control risk assessments and goals to policymakers.

Our mission is to inform, not persuade. METR does not take policy positions, so this role will focus on making sure decision-makers understand our risk assessment work, as well as managing some of our work with the federal government. You’d be METR’s point person for Congress, the administration, and the national security community. TS/SCI security clearance eligibility required. I'm also open to referrals and introductions to people who would be a great fit. jobs.lever.co/metr/07e6aef4-…
